What a year it has been at Banyan Place!
It was such an exciting milestone for construction to commence on site and get underway on the first few stages. Our Banyan Place Sales Office also landed on site this year and construction work is beginning around the site to enable the connection of services to the office including water and electricity. Next year the landscaping works surrounding the office will commence including the construction of a car park area for the office. We anticipate opening the sales office early next year.
Read on below for a stage-by-stage progress report on the works occurring in your community.
Stages 1 & 2
Stages 1 & 2 are out of the gate and construction is progressing well with early works nearing completion.
The early works have involved relocating overheard powerlines and some original water, gas, sewer, and telecommunication services to bring them in line with the newly approved designs from council and the relevant authorities.
The stage 1 & 2 road networks are now visible, earthworks are continuing, and sewer works have also commenced. Drainage is scheduled to commence shortly which will involve the construction of all stormwater pipes and pits throughout the stages. This will allow the safe draining of all stormwater away from all house lots preventing flooding. This network may also feature basins and wetlands designed to treat the stormwater before it enters local waterways.

Stage 3
Early works are progressing in Stage 3 and anticipated to be completed early 2023 and sewer is scheduled to commence shortly. The sewer works will involve the construction of all trunk and reticulation sewers to provide sanitation services to each house lot and connect these services to previously laid services in Stages 1 & 2 and the wider approved sewer network.

Stages 4 & 5
Council and the authorities have accepted all plans including engineering design to allow physical works to commence on site. Permits have been issued which allowed tenders to go out to the relevant contractors. Works have now been awarded and construction will commence shortly.
Stage 6 & 6A
Works are currently out to tender and will be awarded soon. Our current construction program has earthworks to commence early-2023.
Next year is set to be an even bigger one at Banyan Place!
We are looking forward to focusing on the delivery of these stages and welcoming our first residents.
The Construction Team will be taking a welll-earned break over the holiday season and will be back on site contuning work on your community mid-January.
